Courses and Requirements

Students Learning in the Classroom at DePaul

Liberal Studies requirements vary based on a student's degree program and college. At the left, students, faculty, and staff can select the appropriate College/School and major to view the appropriate requirements. Students are strongly encouraged to consult their advisor regarding these requirements and their progress toward degree completion.

Courses involved in the Liberal Studies Program must go through a formal approval process to provide evidence of how students will meet the Learning Outcomes and Writing Expectations for the Liberal Studies area in question. At the left, the list of approved courses and the Learning Outcomes and Writing Expectations for all Liberal Studies areas have been made available.
